Wondering what to wear to class? Check out our suggestions below!

Pole Classes (bare foot)

A sports bra, tank top or t-shirt with close-fitting short-shorts work great for this class. All lotion on your body MUST be washed off prior to class; you’ll coat the pole and lose your grip!

Please come with all jewelry removed; jewelry can ruin our poles, cause injuries, and take damage! If you are physically unable to remove rings, you will be asked to wear pole gloves to prevent damage to our poles and to prevent your jewelry becoming scratched or damaged.

Pole Heels Classes

Pole Heels will require pole specific shoes – no dress heels or street shoes. If you currently own pole shoes, you must have our instructor check them before allowing them in class. Using incorrect shoes can result in injury and damage to our studio's floors and poles! If you would like to purchase pole shoes, your instructor can advise you! They are familiar with several brands with inclusive sizing offerings and great designs. You can also email us at flightaerialandpole@gmail.com and we’ll help you find the perfect shoes for class!

Layers are highly suggested (leggings, legwarmers, knee pads, socks and a t-shirt). The studio has knee pads available! Please no underwear as outter wear or un-covered genital areas: we encourage all of your unique pole-wear flare, but please keep class hygenic and body-safe! If you’re struggling with finding polewear you feel suits you, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll guide you!

All genders welcome, adults 18+ only, please.

Burlesque Classes

Please bring a comfortable pair of heels that you can move well in (optional), as well as wear close fitting clothing you can move freely in that makes you feel sexy! All genders welcome, adults 18+ only, please.

Flexibility, Level-Up Conditioning Classes

Basic exercise clothing, something you can move easily in! Layers work well as they are easy to shed as you warm up.

Aerial Silk Sling, Split Fabric, Lyra Classes

Please come with all jewelry removed; jewelry can become caught and injure you! This includes jewelry on the ears, neck, hands/wrists, ankles/toes. Bellybutton piercings should be securely covered by fabric to avoid tearing, facial/body piercings can pose a danger as well! Please cover, remove, or replace with silicone for safety!

Close-fitting leggings are recommended, at least long enough to cover your knees, a close-fitting top that will stay in place when you are upside-down is also a good choice; some students prefer to wear shirts that cover their armpits to prevent chaffing, but this is not always necessary! A close fitting top that covers your sides works well, particularly for split fabric. Male-bodied students might find aerial activity more comfortable and less precarious by adding a dance belt to their workout gear!
